Special Projects

A.R.A.B develops and produces specialised smaller scale arts and community projects, often in collaboration with organisations needing to get ideas, themes and information out to specific communities.

Previous projects have included an exciting collaboration with Massive Hip Hop Choir and Melbourne Youth Music, and participating in Signal 37. Over the years A.R.A.B has also produced a short documentary, a 12×3 metre photographic public billboard and a regional and metropolitan performance tour and accompanying educational DVD about STI prevention for young people.

Signal 37

As a part of Signal 37, A.R.A.B ran free dance workshops through summer holidays. A.R.A.B also partnered with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) to create a flashmob open to public, with the AYCC’s message of a safe climate future using renewable energy underlining the project.

SubUrban Exchange

SubUrban Exchange was a collaboration between A.R.A.B, Massive Hip Hop Choir and Melbourne Youth Music to mix and mash their unique styles including but not limited to classical, contemporary and hip hop.
