TAWASAL Gigs
Tawasal means ‘to connect’ in Arabic.
A.R.A.B youth performers with a high level of performance and or technical skills are paid to perform and work alongside professional artists at a broad range of events. These include festivals, workshops, conferences, launches and forums for government, schools, community and business organisations.
Tawasal provides talented professional and emerging culturally diverse artists with ‘ready to go’ performances and workshops in rap, hip hop, body percussion, belly dance, traditional and contemporary music, comedy, krump, dancehall, stomp and parkour.
All artists who work in the Tawasal platform are paid. Fees are therefore charged for the service and A.R.A.B can tailor performances and workshops to suit a budget and event focus. This program averages eighty performances a year, so booking well in advance is advised.
